Last night at Harry Potter he popped up on the screen for cartoon network, dude is awesome

This video of Andrew W.K. on Fox News is amazing. Two summers ago I wanted to make it my goal to be as much like this dude as possible and this video reminds me to strive for Amanda W.K. status.

Over the last 10+ years I have heard stories about him randomly calling fans to say what’s up (he did this to my brother and a friend’s brother) to signing an autograph on the back of a past due bill and writing the kid a check on the spot to make sure his electricity doesn’t get turned off. I am aware of the Andrew W.K. conspiracy theory, but I really don’t care, dude is a solid human. Does anyone else have any other ridiculous A.W.K. stories?

If you live in the Boston area you should go to this, it will be such a good show. Wish I was there!

Julian Casablancas - Phrazes For The Young (Preview)

So apparently Julian Casablancas, frontman of The Strokes, is putting out a solo album later this year. This video is a teaser/preview for the album titled Phrazes For The Young. The video is a bit over-dramatic, but I can’t say that I care. Assuming this solo project wont push back the release of the fourth Strokes album, then I’m absolutely pumped for a Casablancas solo LP. All other solo projects from Strokes members I enjoyed, Albert Hammond Jr.’s especially. So I’ve got to figure what Julian is going to put out will probably make my head implode from it’s awesome musical might.

Interesting how these kinds of sounds are becoming so au courant. But I dig it. All the Strokes seem to be going neo-hippy these days.

I totally sobbed when Hermione was crying about Ron (and felt like an idiot). My friends got free passes for dressing up! Good night, also when i go to movie I like to be an idiot. When I say idiot I just mean not over think it and enjoy. After every new movie I love coming here and other places to see everyone tear them apart.

Just woke up and made some breakfast. Cinnamon swirl bread from farmer’s market + egg whites + soy milk + vanilla = delicious French toast topped with vegan butter and syrup. YUM.

I hear thunder, if it starts pouring before I actually fall asleep I’m going to run around in it. I need to wash this day off of me!
