DFW is a depressing airport with all these soldiers and their families!
PS- I’ve almost cried four times just seeing them together, there’s a mom with three kids, her husband is obviously deployed as well because her sister is there with her and the kids are being super strong. They shouldn’t have to be, kind of breaking my heart.
Worstmomever? This lady just refused to give her seat next to her husband to her teenage daughter who was sitting next to an older stranger man, many rows in front of them! They’re laughing about it. What crappy parents.
On my way to the airport, i’ll be cutting it close; which is normal when both my mom and I are involved.
At almost 26, sometimes I’m still afraid to go outside alone at night. This may or may not have to do with the time a man jumped in our car and kidnapped us at knife point. Oh my life.
Packed my bag, picked what I’ll wear, decided what snacks to take along; now the big question, do I stay up and just nap during my 12 hours of travel time or go to bed? I definitely need to shower because we don’t need a repeat of the last flights.
